The Nature Festival takes place from Wednesday 22 to Sunday, May 26, 2013 and the theme this year, "The Little Bugs". For this 7th edition, Nausicaa propose Saturday, May 25, 2013, two animations:

"Why the sea foam?" ... Through this animation, the educational team Nausicaa explain why there is sometimes the foam on the beaches of our coast, what and where the foam it come from?

The animation "Beasts Small and Algae of the Rocky Coast" invites participants to observe under the microscope the Opal Coast and identify their discoveries ..

Animation "Why the sea foam?"

Plankton fishing on the beach at Boulogne-sur-Mer - Animation in the laboratory and microscopic observation. Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
To unravel the mystery of the sea foam, those who wish may participate in this interactive animation laboratory Nausicaa. This activity leads to discover the eutrophication of coastal waters, its impact on the environment and solutions for action.

And if ... observe under the microscope the rocky coast and discover the many species of seaweed and winkles, allowed to learn a lot more about the state of the coastline? Thanks to Nausicaa and Biolit program, citizens help scientists. Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
